Softening into love
When random people across my life lean in, unprompted, and say “You’re someone I can tell this to….” then proceed to share something taboo, sexual, technically illegal, a freaky confession, a guilty pleasure or a non-humble brag…
It feels like a life accomplishment 💁♀️
Please, bring me your wildest. Let us dance together!

I want to spread fairydust to lift this world up / Replacing pain & shame with pleasure & liberation.

I want to write a poem about the beauty that’s possible within the one night stand.
It’s waiting for my hands to catch it.

Rel told me this week,
Forgiveness = relinquishing the desire for punishment.
We can grieve without holding the goal to tear others down. We can grieve and keep our hearts open. We can go to the depths of anger, rage, horrifying sadness. And we can come back, again and again, to the task of softening our hearts.

My life isn’t simple. I’m following love, which is another path entirely. Love and simplicity are not the same choice.

“You’re brimming with journeys.”

Thank you, thank you, for seeing me.
